Much of our summer involved working on our house – so I’ll throw in a couple of pics for good measure – but I’ll plan to get out a post full with before and after pics once all the work is done :)
we painted the front porch area and the door (tangerine is the color – but i think its a bit brighter than what I wanted, so the plan is that this spring – to paint over it with a dark blue or teal or something along those lines)

We had to have some fun too! and actually papa preferred just to be alone for his work – so that meant keeping the kids plenty busy…
trip to ZC playground – owen had gone here one day at Great Escape and talked all about it – so we had to go visit! 
sydney’s class kept busy this summer by growing a garden! she always came home talking about the things she saw growing and that she got to pick and try..and sometimes she brought things home…like these lovely tomatoes – notice the bite on the bigger one? she thought she might try it but realized she wasn’t going to like it so she decided to bring it home to gran!

Off to the beach! we decide to go to the beach one night for a picnic and some swimming…and for scott to take a break from working!
