Syd turned TWO on March 11! How did the time go so fast?!?!
Her Stats: Weighs in at 25 lbs. 6 oz. (33rd percentile) and is 33' tall (60th percentile) - her head is in the 95th percentile, which came as no surprise! :)
She is in a size 2T and wears a size 4 diaper and size 5 1/2 shoe.
She pretty much had a growth spurt overnight (or so it seemed) - all of a sudden one day none of the clothes that she normally wore would fit!

She also took off talking like crazy lately and is putting 3-4 words together - sometimes more. The other night she said - “by you sit mommy, see” (translation: i want to sit by you mommy, so i can see the video) She will say something - then ask 'yeah?' afterward all.of.the.time - ("the ball....yeah?" - sort of like, there it is....)
still says 'ah' before a lot of things - which can mean 'more, she, the, he, there, a, etc...'
an example of the last two little quirks put together is: ‘ah all done......yeah?’
Shes very polite...if she wants something she’ll say ‘ahnt mow too peas’
The other day she was trying to tell me about something after school and she said 'peuw' i thought it was spill, or play or i just wasn't sure...so I told her I didn’t know what she was saying and she got frustrated so she said "no, Jesus, peuw" – ah. PRAYER!
owen told syd there was a half moon the sky on the way to school one morning and she started saying ‘half...(long pause)...moon’ it was really cute and we've had her repeat it so many times since then...im surprised she still says it! lol.
Still quite the little diva! Here's a little example: She was playing with owen behind gran’s curtains and he started bugging her - she freaked out and said ‘no, O-WINnnnnnnnnnnnnnn’ - like a little teenager! :)
The other night, she wanted owen to get out of her room so she shouted out 'AH, WOOM' and stomped her foot when she said it (get out of my room)
Her little bedtime routine each night includes a little sippy cup of milk while i rock her in her chair...when its done, she whispers, 'ah gone' and then wants a ‘kisshug’ (all one word)….she wants to get 'ca cee' (cozy) so i tuck her blankets in around her in her bed – which makes her laugh…then she wants her 'girl' (this little plastic girl from a happy meal) her apple (a baby chewy toy), minnie, and her ‘guy’ (this little blankie) then she always shouts out 'wah-woo' (love you)
sleeps 730-7 am on weekdays and til 8/830 on weekends / she takes one nap a day for about 1½ -2 hrs
Loves to be 'granny syd' - i will tie her blanket around her shoulders and she will jsut walk around forever like that ('ah, gannee sit' - she will ask)
She's pretty easily entertained and will play forever with things that she can put back into a container (crayons moving them around, putting them on couch, floor, in a bag) she will hand me her white crayons though and says ‘ah bo-keen’ (its broken)
She has been sitting like a big girl at the table - no more high chair - as of about 22 mo old? Is eating well from a fork or spoon and can drink out of a cup with no lid pretty well too!
She loves all kinds of food – broccoli is a favorite…but so is pizza! She loves to pull her pepperoni (roni) off and eats it first. Whenever she’s eating crackers or chicken nuggets or somethign that’s not all cut up, she always has to take a little nibble or bite of something and then moves on to the next one - so she always has a plate full of stuff with bites out of it...but that’s only when she doesn’t scarf stuff down, cuz typically with things like broccoli, or things already cut into pieces, she can pretty much out-eat owen.
she just had her first bubble bath the other day and wasn’t so sure about the bubbles at first, but ended up loving it…
Her hair is getting so long! 
She also idolizes her brother! They have quite the love hate relationship, like most siblings do! Really, though, he takes good care of her and she tries to take care of him too…she’s always concerned when her ‘O-yo’ is crying (she’s recently started calling him owen (or will call him bud, or buddy or whatever I happen to call him).
they love to hide out behind their little tool bench and scott or i have to come stomping into the room like we’re monsters and roar….they think its great….syd sometimes jumps up and laughs…
but usually, they’re huddled in the corner together…she leans up against him and buries her head in his shoulder and holds onto his waist…they’re so sweet! 
They definitely have a good time together!

She is such a little goof…
she loves to dance and will wiggle her buns and tell you she’s wagging her tail
She does this really sweet thing when she's trying to get your attention where she will grab your face with her little hands
at church, during prayer, she randomly shouts out ‘wake up!’
she loves to put on hand lotion - calls it ‘motion’
recently has started to pick out bows for her hair and loves to wear them
loves the color green (geen) except she doesn’t really know what color green really is – everything is ‘GEEN’'
she makes crazy little faces…
She’s gotta have her way (as referenced earlier with the diva attitude)
This is how she had to go out a few weeks ago…winter hat, minnie ears and rubber boots….and she did NOT want her picture taken….
she does love these minnie ears…and doesn’t quite understand what the elastic that is supposed to go under her chin is for…so she wears it like this…
We celebrated her birthday at Deanna’s playhouse on the 10th….the kiddos had a great time! :)

Thanks to everyone for all the help in making Syd’s birthday party a fun time to remember! Sorry Gran, you didn’t make an appearance in any of my pics – but its probably because you were too busy helping out with everything – I really couldn’t have pulled it off without you! :) Little miss Syd is so blessed to have such awesome family and friends in her life!
