yay kids!! the Fun Run is such a fun way for the kiddos to get out and get moving and a great way to earn money for the school – it’s their only school fundraiser ALL year!
In september a few of the girls from my mom’s group and I headed up north for a weekend away…
we baked…
we started our own fire….
we crafted and crocheted….
we ate…and ate…
and ate…and drank cofffe…and read gossip magazine
and ate….
chef John’s was awesome for lunch! 
and shopped… (notice alyson trying to be as tall as Nichole)

we drank (not really this though…this was just a fun reminder of the fireball game at the casino)….
we gambled…and some of us got carded…
we lost our money …
we took a selfie…
we ate….
…and we drank….
we all needed the getaway and had a great time away from our mommy duties!
My little man starts kindergarten this year!!
He is in the Montessori Kindergarten room at Waukazoo, his teacher’s name is Mrs. Gallagher.
We got to go to an open house the week before school started just so he could get a feel for what it would be like – he got to check out the room, meet his teacher, some friends, and see his locker.
A friend from church was in his class, as was a friend who he had gone to LLPP and Great Escape with.

Owen and Papa on their first day of school! Not only did Owen start kindergarten, but papa started working at the tech center in the Engineering Design class – so they got to ‘go back to school’ together on the same day!

i ended up following the bus to school and turning in to the subdivision across the street and got a chance to turn around and sit and watch the bus as it waited to turn left into the school – but couldn’t see him get off at school – definitely was much harder on me as I sat in my van with tears in my eyes – he had an incredible time!!!
