i went to texas for a conference and had never been there before – we went to San Antonio which has this fun river walk…all of the restaurants and shops downtown are all along the river and it’s really fun to see!
we even spotted a power ranger!

and got to take a few walks down the river walk…
and someone lined up all the things mom brought back for him from the TX trip

the kids also get to do engineering club after school which is a program run with the help of Hope college students. ..they made this self propelled boat one day…super cool!
this is the second or maybe even third set of baby birds born in this little flower container on our front porch
so…i learned about kombucha and was super intrigued so had to try it! i got a scoby from someone who brews at work…and gave it a try

and speaking of running...owen did TTQ which is a running program for boys through his school and I coached him. and the final event for the training was the Tulip Time 5k!!! his first official race :)
