Sydney Charlotte is six months old! I feel like I need to start lumping some of these monthly milestones into the same blog post rather than doing a separate one for each month, I just put her five month one out there!!
Syd is growing sooooo fast! Here are her six month stats:
15lbs 10oz – 50th percentile
26” long – 50th percentile
Head circumference – 90th percentile!
Here’s a growth comparison from 3 weeks to 6 months on the same blanket
She had her six month checkup today and did great, she cried after shots only from the time it took them to put the band-aids on and for me to pick her up – so only about 10 seconds and then she was just fine – what a little trooper!! :)
So what else goes on in that little life of hers?
She just started wearing size 2 diapers, wears size 6-9 month clothes
she has taken quite kindly to her exersaucer!
She is still pretty much on the same eating/sleeping pattern as I posted about last month, though she will sleep in later on the weekends! Just let us sleep in til 8 am this past weekend!!

totally zonked out on the floor after some fun play time with papa and the cat (and, yes folks, our cat IS bigger than our baby!!!)
She has now tried sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, and pears!
She is sitting so much better - she even tries to pull herself to sitting when she’s laying down or in her carseat or bouncy! She also tolerates her bumbo much longer, she will sit there for 10-15 min without getting tired!

She still loves getting dressed up! Here she is ready for the gym!

and with a cute new bow she got for her 1/2 birthday!

and she loves all her cute little dresses
Still loving those feet – here’s quite the classic shot…I stuck her in her little bath chair on the floor while I went to chase Owen down so we could get ready for a bath. When I came back in I discovered her like this…her chair had collapsed in on her and she had perfect access to her feet, she couldn’t have been happier!! She’s actually trying to jam her foot in her mouth along with her paci!
She’s becoming more and more aware of things
She is developing some stranger anxiety – she freaks out when someone she doesn’t recognize comes too close
She rolls over ALL the time to her belly but still can’t figure out how to flip back over! When she’s on her belly she scoots a little bit to try to get to something out of reach.
She LOVES her papa
…and basically, she’s just a happy, happy little girl!
Here she is with froggy and her bear
We love our little lady!
