Summer FUN

Just a camera dump of some fun times during the summer

One of many trips to Bowerman’s – even though blueberries weren’t ready yet, we had to go for some outdoor fun and some froyo

the (blurry) result of the micro-burst storm we got right outside of my work – talk about insanely scary!  while this might not be what you would consider to be ‘fun’ (as in the title of my post) – it was such a crazy storm – I had to post about it…it was basically a tornado but was just in one small area. it did significant damage to one of our buildings at work. when it came through – all of a sudden it was raining and really windy…then it was absolutely nothing…and suddenly you couldn’t even see out the window – there were leaves and branches plastering the windows and it got SO dark and loud….wow!

another not so fun thing…little syd took quite the tumble out of the burley as papa was coming to a stop…

she looked like she had a golf ball in her front lip…we took her to the dentist because she hit her teeth pretty hard and they felt loose…all ended up being ok – they did loosen up a little bit – but everything about her jaw / bones was just fine, thankfully!

Cottage Life – Adult Getaway

We got a chance to do an adults-only getaway in August with two other couples up at the cottage

first things first…chuck wagon 

followed by a pontoon ride  

and a fire…

very serious business

like i said.serious.

us girls went out shopping and got some coffee and read some magazines while the guys went out fishing…

was a relaxing, fun and much needed getaway…think it might have to become a tradition!

Cran Hill 2013

This was our second year at Cran Hill – we went with a group from our church!

These kids were so excited on the way up – no idea what they’re doing – they were just waving their arms and clapping….crazy kiddos
