So – you’ thought I’d forgotten about this blogging thing – right? In truth, kind of – yet at the same time – It’s been such a whirlwind lately – I mean what else would you expect from a mother of a one year old who works full time, is in first trimester of pregnancy, with a husband who’s been working 60+ hours a week? Right.
I think I’ve turned a road with the sickness aspect of this pregnancy, but the tiredness – not so much. Wow. That’s about all I can say. Scott is taking in all the overtime he can get – which is nice money-wise, considering for the past several months, he’s been down to 32 hrs a week, yet at the same time, we never get to see each other, and he is so exhausted!!
Owen is doing great – learning something new every day it seems! On Friday at bath time he figured out how to put his face underwater – and he loved it! He’s really starting to use his signs a lot – saying please, more, juice, eat, all done, etc. He is walking almost exclusively now – that little guy really can move! He’s also discovered climbing and the art of ‘testing’ his mom and dad! What a little stinker!
We’ve been trying to plan out how to move things around before baby gets here – Owen will get a new bedroom, Murphy will get a new bedroom and I think we’ll move the office downstairs, and turn the front living room into a play room, and move the furniture from that room, downstairs. Lots of moving cleaning, and painting to come! Stay tuned for progress (so far we have 0% progress!)
Scott and I are going to go shopping in a couple of weekends – to look for some storage and other ‘stuff’ for the remodeling project – this will be our first time that both of us will be away from little ‘buns’ overnight! Grandma and Grandpa will be taking him to the cottage with them and we will have some much needed time together! Yay! I can hardly wait!
Next weekend we are heading to the cottage for the holiday weekend – can’t wait to get away and relax!
That’s about all to report for now!
Enjoy the pictures…..
watch out, his head is tilted to the left, you know what that means! :)

Love my boots!
Mowing the lawn w/ papa – he kept making ‘truck’ noises the whole time and loved to hit papa on the head with a stick! :)
Wrestling w/ Papa - now that he knows how to climb – his favorite thing is to climb all over either of us when we’re playing on the floor w/ him – so fun! :)
