So the other night – Owen and Syd wanted a snack and Owen requested an apple….normally he always likes it sliced and with the skin peeled off, so when he asked for it ‘not cut up’ – I couldn’t argue….Little miss Syd also thought it was a pretty great snack – and the two of them munched on it together for a good 20 minutes…and he didn’t even mind sharing a bit…it was pretty cute! 
She would get so impatient while he took his bites and would wait there with her mouth wide open…
then when he was ready, he’d let her have some…
And in case you’re wondering, she has her ‘blankie’ tied around her neck…usually she wants to drag it around with her and I’d rather not have it dragging all over the floor, so i started tying it around her neck and calling her ‘granny syd’ with her little shawl…now she’ll come up to me and say “gaah-nee sit”….
she was so excited about this apple, she’d follow him all over trying to get another bite….
Eventually, they ended up curled up on the footstool…and finishing their snack….
