Butterflies

 

A couple of weeks ago, i took a day off of work to go to Frederick Meijer Gardens with the kiddos…

I didn’t get a ton of pictures – since I was busy chasing both of these two around…syd probably sat in the stroller for about 20 minutes total of the 3 or so hours we were there

owen in the ‘cave’ or what i later learned was the ‘car wash’ …he kept telling scott about the car wash and i told him we didnt’ go through the car wash…so then we figured out it was the cave because of the waterfall you could see while you were inside….

he wasn’t too sure about it but yet he loved it at the same time!

playing in the kids room back to the butterflies again…trying to get a pic of the two of them with owen’s arm around syd…he decided he’d rather squeeze her neck…notice her hand on her head trying to get his hand away…and he has a total look like he’s doing nothing wrong….

while it was a long morning (we didn’t get home until a little after 2) and the kiddos were definitely ready to go once we left…they did incredibly well and had a pretty great time!  plus it was nice for me to get out with them for the day and spend some time with them!  :)
