My little man starts kindergarten this year!!
He is in the Montessori Kindergarten room at Waukazoo, his teacher’s name is Mrs. Gallagher.
We got to go to an open house the week before school started just so he could get a feel for what it would be like – he got to check out the room, meet his teacher, some friends, and see his locker.
A friend from church was in his class, as was a friend who he had gone to LLPP and Great Escape with.

Owen and Papa on their first day of school! Not only did Owen start kindergarten, but papa started working at the tech center in the Engineering Design class – so they got to ‘go back to school’ together on the same day!

little sis got to go along with to the bus stop and she insisted on wearing her backpack too! i just love these two pictures to see the hesitation in the first picture and then the second one – he looks really interested – as he watches all the other kids waiting at the bus stop

i ended up following the bus to school and turning in to the subdivision across the street and got a chance to turn around and sit and watch the bus as it waited to turn left into the school – but couldn’t see him get off at school – definitely was much harder on me as I sat in my van with tears in my eyes – he had an incredible time!!!
