Fourth of July

Celebrating the fourth right means spending time at the cottage

…speaking of fisher ladies!! check out the ‘lady angler’ sunglasses – these are typically stashed in the glove compartment on the boat – but I wear them EVERY.chance.I get!

uncle scotty trying to relive his glory days – bought an inflatable raft for the kids to try (he has so many memories of toolin around in one at the marina as a kid) …kiddos didn’t have such great luck with it – so decided to swim instead

scott brought up his tripod/grill for the campfire and made some AMAZING chicken for dinner one night

these.two. love them.  so . so . much! they can sit for hours and fish! 

 

of course the fourth weekend wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Dokter’s annual 4th bash on Silver Lake…along with lots of yummy food and lots of laughs.
