Half Dozen

It’s hard to believe Sydney is 6 years old!!

During this past year, she:

went to her first birthday party without parents! Such big stuff!!

and she’s so serious about things…When we were picking out wrapping/bags for the gift, I asked her which one she

wanted to get and her response was: I prefer that one….

graduated from PRESCHOOL!

Started kindergarten!!

Went to Disney for the first time

learned to READ – she can’t get enough of it

Lost first tooth on the bus on the way to school (kindergarten!)

and her second tooth not long after that!

Some funnies: 

she loves to do ‘Snoring with grandma” – she was telling us about it and said: we were hump chewing, she was humping, i was chewing

As she was sitting with papa – she points to his beard and says, “this is your beard, grappy has a beard!” scott covers his beard and says, ,grappy has this - it’s a mustache...to which syd replies: “oh!!!….gran has a mustache!”

She is just the sweetest thing sometimes…at bedtime, she’s been hugging me tight and says “i’m not gonna let you go until the sun goes down”

she told me the other day, took a nap today to get some extra power for the playground

she prefers to sleep with her mask on

loves to cuddle

sometimes gets so tired she just can’t stay awake any more…

She loves to dance and perform and just be crazy…the kid LOVES life (I want to learn to be more like her)

one day – when she was dancing….I asked her why she was being so crazy and she responds: i don’t know; it just comes out of my body, my body tells me to do it

she also discovered gymnastics this year…this was her kindergarten field trip (which I got to go to!!) she volunteered to jump in the foam pit first!
