At the beginning of Sept, we spent the weekend with a total of six adults and 5 kids who were three and under at the cottage!
it was a great weekend! beautiful weather and lots of fun! :)
We got up there on fri night and owen had to head right for the lake for some fishing…notice the life jacket underneath his coat and the crazy face he’s making? such a goof!
Sat morn, we headed to the state park and took a little walk and waited for Kelly, Steve and Julia to meet us !

Kelly, Al and I got to go out shopping during naps on Saturday and when we got home, this is what we found! The dads chillin with their kiddos…
We took the whole clan out on the pontoon for a cruise through the channels…

We also headed to the park and the kids had a great time!

the adults spent the evening saturday night hanging out by the campfire and watching some crazy people in a pontoon plow through the stumps not once but twice…we had some smores and discovered an awesome variation of making them with peanut butter cups opposed to hershey bars…mmm….
sunday morning Owen and Julia were partners in crime….julia grabbed the goldfish off the counter and hauled them into the living room, but couldn’t get them opened, so owen came to the rescue and opened the carton up….
soon all the kids realized that a fishy free-for-all was going on and they all joined in!

we went out to the state park for another walk on sunday and it was a crazy-foggy morning….made for some fun pics…
we spent the afternoon fishing….owen was so proud of his catch he had to give it a smooch!

and Kelly was bound and determined to catch a fish and finally she did – look closely and you’ll see it! :) we had a great time being master anglers!
Though crazy and chaotic at times – it was a great weekend!
