Road Trip

At the end of March, Gran, Owen, Syd and I took a little road trip down to Ohio to visit my aunt and uncle for my uncle’s surprise 75th birthday party…

It was quite the adventure and the kids were such troopers…

We had a great time swimming at the hotel and shopping on our way home (we stopped at Cabela’s and the outlet mall).  We even made a pit stop at a dollar general for some pool toys (they’re sitting on owen’s spider man float)

           

no pics from the party..there was a prof photographer there so I didn’t bother to take any..but haven’t gotten my hands on copies yet! 

A funny story from the party though was that there were hershey’s kisses sitting out in bowls and at one point the kids kept disappearing..we realized they were taking handfulls of kisses, sneaking behind the tv and unwrapping the and eating them….there was QUITE the pile of wrappers once i figured it out….so sneaky!
