Missouri Vacation – Part II (Day 1/2) Pool, Lazy River, & Dixie Stampede

Continuation of Days one and two of our condo stay…

We had the most amazing infinity pool right by our condo

the kids had so much fun swimming!   it was fun for us to see them get a little more brave with the water.  owen would go all on his own in his life jacket and syd was fine as someone was holding on to her in her swimmies…

we even had the pool to ourselves most of the time!

the infinity pool was just crazy!  uncle paul and grappy have a boat headed right toward them!  

so, as i mentioned, this little miss got all brave on us and would jump into the pool (as long as there was someone there to catch her) but also in typical syd fashion, she had a little routine that she would do…she would jump in, get out, go sit on the steps like this (all contemplative and serious) and then get up and jump in, repeat….(stay tuned for tomorrow’s fun when she added some moves to her routine)….

at night, they did a movie night at the pool – so we all walked back down there to check it out

so for day two of our vacay, we headed to the lazy river – there was also a little kiddie pool, hot tub, slide, and indoor pool with slide over there – so we had fun checking it all out

i think it was a pretty successful day of fun – someone zonked out on the way home!

So that night – grandma and grappy bought us tickets to the Dixie Stampede!!! So we headed into Branson for the evening

So the thing about this picture….the horse’s name was ‘Les’ and it had a big bottom….so I was trying to give the horse a run for its money….lol! 

Our fam posing at the ‘stampede’….. I think the kids were in awe of everything that went on during the show – they got to cheer for their team and see all kinds of animals!! it was a pretty impressive show!! plus pretty good food too :)

and grappy had to spoil the kiddos with dixie stampede boot cups – but, really-  how could you resist them!! they’re pretty cool :) an apparently make good ear warmers too!
