Missouri Vacation – Part III (Day 3) – Wildlife Excursion

 

 

    After a morning of fishing and swimming – we headed out on a ‘wildlife excursion’!  the kiddos and grandma and grappy went out on a ride through the wilderness while the ‘big kids’ went on segways

it was like a roller coaster going up and down hills !!

they even went to arkansas! 

they saw lots of fun animals – and got super close up to them!  

and of course saw lots of fish – and got to feed them too!  

all the while – we were on our own tour!  first we got a little ‘how to’ before we went exploring   

our first stop was this super cute little chapel in the woods – it was beautiful!

we saw many waterfalls and just lots of gorgeous scenery!

so fun!!

and such a juxtaposition of modern day life and just rustic natural life

on the move with our sweet little tour guide man!

  so this pic cracks me up…jen started making a ‘left turn’ signal – and to make fun of her – scott copied her – because apparently – it is a right turn signal?! who knew!

what an awesome time – so amazing to see such natural beauty and get to try out segways too! we had a blast!
